Delete your account
You can permanently delete your CalorieLensAI account and all associated data at any time. Choose one of the two options below.
What gets deleted
When your deletion is processed, we remove all of the following from our production systems:

| Server access logs (IP, request path only — no body content) | Purged within 90 days |
Records we're legally required to keep
A very small set of data is retained for the minimum period required by law, even after your account is deleted. These records do not identify you by name or profile data — they exist only to satisfy specific legal obligations:
- Payment & tax records — invoice totals, tax jurisdictions, and payment processor transaction IDs (Stripe / RevenueCat). Required by tax law for up to 7 years, depending on your country. Your name, email, and card details are not stored by us — they remain with Stripe / Apple / Google under their own retention policies.
- Abuse & fraud signals — hashed device or account fingerprints tied to serious abuse (chargebacks, spam, refund fraud) may be retained to protect other users. Retained no longer than needed.
Cancel your subscription first
Deleting your CalorieLensAI account does not automatically cancel a paid subscription that was purchased through Apple, Google, or Stripe. Please cancel before deleting so you aren't billed on the next renewal:
- iPhone / iPad (App Store): Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → select CalorieLensAI → Cancel.
- Android (Google Play): Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → select CalorieLensAI → Cancel.
- Web (Stripe): sign in and tap Profile → Manage subscription → Open billing portal, or reply to any past receipt with the word "cancel".
